AGAINST TAXPAYERS

John Lawrence accepted an 17.81% pay raise over the last 24 months.  He has not returned his automatic pay increases to the Treasury.   Look up state employee salaries here.

John voted for budget increases totaling 80%, significantly greater than inflation and population growth, in:  2022, 20212020​, 2019​, 201820172015201420132012, and 2011.  Pennsylvania’s total operating budget increased 80.3% since 2011.

AGAINST SECURE ELECTIONS

John Lawrence voted for Act 77 that gave us: No excuse Mail-in Ballots (which are not verified or audited like Absentee Ballots used to be), Drop Boxes, Election Season (not Election Day), and Removed Straight Party Voting.

Voting by mail is largest source of potential voter fraud.

Pennsylvania's Commonwealth Court explained how Act 77 was unconstitutional.

AGAINST 2nd AMENDMENT

John Lawrence voted for HB2060 (Red Flag Law), the forfeiture of firearms in the absence of due process.  Pro gun rights groups opposed the legislation and revoked their endorsement of John Lawrence due to his vote.

The left praised the bill even though it was unconstitutional.   

AGAINST SCHOOL CHOICE

John Lawrence, listening to the teachers union, joined Democrats voting against school choice during COVID while sending his children to private school.  (HB1254 Sonney Amendment.)

AGAINST PUBLIC UTILITIES

John Lawrence voted for Act 12 incentivizing private companies to purchase publicly utilities like CWA. John accepted thousands of dollars in campaign contributions from Aqua and American Water Company before and after his vote for Act 12.

AGAINST NATURAL RESOURCES

Contrary to his claims, John Lawrence's HB1813 would expand the authority of the  Department of Conservation and Natural Resources to develop preserves like White Clay and Big Elk Creek State Parks.  John also cosponsored and voted for HB2013 opening our State Parks to public-private development for the "recreation industry."

AGAINST LIFE

John Lawrence voted to give $150,000,000 to the University of Pittsburgh while they conduct experiments on aborted babies (SB1284).

AGAINST THE PEOPLE

After promising to limit his term in office, John Lawrence has become a CAREER POLITICIAN of 14 years.
