John Lawrence, listening to the teachers union, joined Democrats voting against school choice during COVID while sending his children to private school.  

HB2060 was unconstitutional, the left praised the bill and John Lawrence voted for it.   Due to his vote, pro gun rights group FOAC revoked their endorsement of John Lawrence.

John Lawrence voted for Act 12 incentivizing private companies to purchase publicly utilities like CWA.

Contrary to his claims, John Lawrence's HB1813 would expand the authority of DCNR to develop preserves like White Clay and Big Elk Creek State Parks.  He also cosponsored and voted for HB2013 opening our State Parks to public-private development for the "recreation industry."
